"Tea of Six Fortresses" — a famous dark tea (hei cha 黑茶) highly valued among connoisseurs (although often overlooked and underappreciated here) with very beneficial effects on the body, originating from Guangxi Province.
It is common to encounter teas on the market labeled as Liu Bao from other provinces — these are not necessarily bad teas, but they cannot be compared to authentic Liu Bao. Liu Bao has a very distinctive flavor profile that may not be appreciated immediately, but gradually over the course of drinking. Overall, the tea has a rather cooling effect, a very unique taste, and above all, an unmistakable aftertaste.
